Murarai · মুরারই · Birbhum, West Bengal
Birbhum Chetona began in Murarai. Our registered office is in Kushmore village, P.S. Paikar, in Murarai II block — so this is the area where our volunteers live and where our work is most closely rooted.
Murarai sits in the far north of Birbhum, bordering Jharkhand and Murshidabad. Many families here are far from courts and district offices, so we bring free legal counselling, scheme application help, women’s training, and farming support directly to the villages of Murarai I and Murarai II.
Also serving: Murarai I, Murarai II, Paikar, Kushmore. Our work isn’t limited to Murarai — we serve communities across West Bengal, so reach out wherever you are.
